The figure you see is a NFT minted on the Cardano blockchain and created by the Block Generation artists (Adam Gorman and Charles Machin). It represents the sun with an artistic representation of all its surface manifestation of activity. This NFT is part of a collection called SOL-JOURNEY1 which I believe has 500 unique NFT that were generated algorithmically and hosted fully on the Cardano blockchain. That is as long as Cardano exists, the artistic representation will remain.
Similarly the top-left corner clock present on my webpages is part of a collection called "Block Clock" and provides a fully functioning clock in the form of an immutable NFT with patterns algorithmically varying.
